Biography
My name is Josh Uyeda, i went to Hillview Elemenary then went to Evergreen Junior High. I joined AMES about a semester into my Sophomore year and prior to that I had been attending Cottonwood, so haven't been coming to AMES since my Freshman year unlike most of my class. I only came to AMES because of what my friends had said about AMES, it was very tempting to stay at Cottonwood because of how easy everything was, but I did eventually decide to come to AMES for a challenge. So I only have DRSL's from my Sophomore to my Senior year on this website. Howver, coming to AMES has shown me a lot and has helped to really find what i want to do in my life. I originally thought about going into computer science, but when I came here and took Mr. Hendricks and Ms. Banks' classes I saw that field was much more intriguing to me.
A little bit more about myself is that my birthday is in mid September making me one of the oldest seniors if not THE oldest senior in my class. I also play taiko drums which are traditional Japanese style drums that are made from hollowed tree trunks. I've been playing these for a few years and perform very often with the group at various types of venues.
