10th Grade
For my 10th grade year I used an extra credit paper i wrote for my Spanish class about the Dia de Los Muertos. I went to an exhibit that was being held at the Museum of Fine Arts and got to see some traditional art pieces and learn a lot more about the culture. This can apply to this DRSL because I got to see real models of what we had been learning about in class and got to use the information I learned in class and apply to what I was looking at in exhibit.
11th Grade

12th Grade
For this DRSL in my senior year I am using something I learned in my Calculus class called optimization. Optimization is finding the best possible solution out of an array of solutions. Being anything from how many yards of a fence best covers an area with X area in this shape, to how many boxes can I fit in this room with X volume. I've added an image of an example problem and how to solve for it.
